Betta Fish Plants Aquariums Algae Eaters that can live with Male Betta Fish?
My betta fish has a 5 gallon aquarium with a heater and filter. Although I clean the tank about every week, red algae continues to appear on the walls and on the plants. I need recommendations for an algae eater that can live with a male betta, taking into consideration the size of the tank.

well if you want “show” fish you could get a bunch of neons or a couple of rainbow fish and as for bottom feeders i would go for 1 red tailed shark or around 10 cory catfish.
EDIT- if you want bright colored fish i would go for a african cichlid tank, thier colors are one of the brightest of freahwater fish.
