Which kind of betta fish can I can for my baby biorb?
My pet shop lady says I can only get a betta for this tank. I have been researching online and there is more than one kind. Which species can I get?
Can I get a Siamese fighting fish? I really like them.
They look big though:
Will it fit?
Title mistake: What kind of betta fish can stay in my baby biorb.
Sorry.
I would not recommend these tanks because they do not have enough surface area, but if you are going to set this tank up then i would suggest under stocking this tank with SMALL fish.
I would suggest some tetra like amber or neon’s, they are very pretty.

Betta Fish Bowl Why does my 1 gallon fish bowl get dirty so fast(betta fish)?
ok like 3 days after my betta fish bowl (water)gets dirty so fast, why? and i have another question why do i feel like it is real lonely and needs someone?lol
Because waste quickly builds up which also causes a bulid up in ammonia. That’s why getting a tank and filter helps out a lot.
When you have a betta in a bowl witout filtration, water changes should be done 3x a week just to keep the ammonia levels down which can become toxic to your fish.
And don’t worry its not lonely . Betta fish in the wild stake out their own territories and live alone and really dont prefer company. But if you wish to make it happier, maybe but it a decoration or two to hide in along with some plants.

Discus Fish Shopping are discus fish easy to care for.?
my local fish shop, has many fish, but only some are beautifull, the discus fish are very expensive but amazing to look at. Im rather new to tropical fish do you think i could care for one i have a 56l tank, i have a tight budget, so i dont want to get one then have it die in a matter of days, what should i do?
Discus are one of the most difficult fish to keep. Ph has to be precise at all times and temperature must be kept constant and never let to drop below 72. If you are going to go with discus take some extra time before beginning to do a lot of research on them. First research how to keep fish in general, then research discus requirements. May I also suggest researching water, tank cycling, ph and buffers, difference between reverse osmosis and distilled compared to your tap water. The more you learn up front the less you will have to spend on mistakes later. If you don’t do research first you will be very frustrated with dieing fish. The big box pet stores will also have very little advice for you as the employees will not have a clue as how to keep discus. So you are on your own. Talk with the pet store that sells discus, they wouldn’t sell them if they couldn’t keep them alive, so ask what it is they do. You may want to start with an easier to keep community tank and only add discus friendly fish, learn to keep them and then later add the discus. Make sure you save room for them, never over crowd fish.
