Male Betta Fish Bubble Nest will the male betta fish make a bubble nest with the female in the same tank?
Yes he will. However he may also kill her before she is ready to spawn.
If you don’t have a separate tank or a divider be sure to provide tons of plants (especially floating stuff) so that she can stay out of his sight until she is ready to spawn.
Once the spawning is completed he will kill her and any other fish in the tank as well. (unless they are much bigger in which case he will probably die trying)

bettas bubblenest when they’re happy! just be glad you have a happy betta who’s keeping himself occupied. it doens’t mean he needs anything at all. just that he’s satisfied with his surroundings.
