Does my betta fish have a disease?
my betta fish has two red dots comeing out of the middle of his bottom fins (which i beleive is his butt hole) but have been there for a few days. Also he is continuously swelling around that area and is acting weak and lazy. It seems to be getting worse.
Check your water parameters and look into symptoms of parasites. I can’t really tell exactly what you’re describing but bloating and lethargy, as well as these red dots (?) could be signs of a parasite. Are they perhaps ulcers on the skin? It will look like a bloody ring or circle and may grow white fuzzy patches which is fungus. Then you may diagnose as columnaris possibly.
