Raising Betta Fish Babies

My 10 Gallon Setup zsrtj?

4 Neons
3 otos
1 male betta
platy (along with 1 fry)
1 dwarf goby
1 male swordtail
3-4 babies
& a couple juvenile females

i’ve this setup for almost a year

i never have any problems.

is it the plants that help? cuz i have snails and shrimp and my fish seem to love plants

P.s. I had 5 neons for almost 2 years and recently one got this weird swimming style. i looked it up online and i read neons raised in asian farms have some weird genetic line and don’t live for more than few years. she was already fully grown when i got her

It could be the plants because plants help break down the fish waste and they consume the nitrates.
