Planted Discus Fish Aquarium
What would be a good very short plant for an Aquarium?
I am making my first planned aquarium, and I need some assistance choosing one of the plant species. The 30 gallon tank will have a short plant, preferably with the appearance of grass, on the bottom. In the middle will be a large rock or chunk of driftwood, with some giant hairgrass in each of the back corners. I plan to get 12-15 Neon tetra (paracheirodon innesi) as well as two ghost shrimp. I also plan to purchase three larger fish and am considering buying 3 symphsodons (aka Discus fish). Could you tell me if Symphysodons will fit well with the other fish, as well as what kind of short plant to get.

dwarf baby tears but they’re really hard to come by.
Micro sword and hairgrass. (Its the 4″ kind)
both of these should not grow over 5″
and discus really should get a 65 gallon tank. thats what my friend has hers in. She also has semi-large cichlids. They get along great.
But you could get blue rams, dwarf gouramis, or maybe a dwarf cichlid.
