Are neon zebra danios aggressive?
these little fish are very color full and beautiful. i bout 4. one yellow one pink one orange and one green. the pink and orange ones killed the other two and i cought them fighting to the death. so i seperated the two. and months later i tried putting them back togeather. the act like bettas!! the yellow one died while i was at summer camp (thx mom) now the pink one is liveing in a 10gal with a female betta. there best friends! i tried puting a guppy in with them today the betta was okay with it and the zebra danio attacked it instantly. i thought there pose to live in schools?!?!! i feel riped off!
No, they are not agressive fish but will fin nip each other and tankmates if not in a proper school of 6+ or in too small of a tank because thay are extremely active they need 20 gallons minimum.
