Fluval u3 filter not working?
hey guys need some major help. i was givin a u3 fluval from my brother. it has been working ever since for about a year now. so i decided to go buy some filters. i accidently bought the wrong sponge which was too big and thick. so i thought i cut it into my original filter. it was working for a few mins until i accidently over wet the plug thinking that was the end of my filter. my filter isnt working currently any suggestions? or is this the end of my good filter.
They are very simple inside, take it apart, clean it and put it back together. I do mine every year to help it run at optimum performance. You may have partials from the wrong sponge inside the motor area, very easy to clean out. Nothing to it.
