i unplugged it disconnected in and out flows cleaned it set it back up the correct way and it pumped a whole load of shite in2 the tank wats going on is this normal. now i have 2 do a water change which i dont like doin after cleaning the filter

I have the same filter. What I do is run a piece of five foot long, 1″ hose from the output to a bucket. When the pump is first turned on after cleaning, all the loose stuff goes in the bucket. I run it for around 5-10 seconds. Yes, I have to add a little more water, but the tank is a lot cleaner.
When the filter is turned off, the debris settles in the lines (in and out) – this flushes out when the filter is powered up – right into your nice, clean water.
