Divided Betta Fish Tanks
Divided Betta Fish Tanks
I have betta fish and the male made a bubble nest wat does that mean?

I have a male and a female in a divided tank

It means he’s happy, and healthy. Thus he’s prepared to mate if a female came along. In nature he’d be living in a huge rice paddy, or pond. He’d need to be ready if a female ready to mate can in to the area he controls.

Remember he is a fish not a person. He’ll be as happy, if not happier, not mating. Mating is stressful, and can often kill your betta in so many ways. Not to mention the female could kill him or he her.

Note if he can see the female that can cause bubble nesting as well.
