What fish can go with my discus?
I have one discus in a 55gallon all live plant tank and want to know what fish are good to put with it would fish from its region? Small fish that are biger then its mouth? Or dos it matter so long its a community fish?
Cardinal tetras look great with discus but ideally you’d want a small school of discus maybe 6 along with around 12 cardinals for maximum effect.
aqadvisor.com shows this suggestion to be 106% stocking so slightly overstock but if you work hard at maintenance and do regular water changes this shouldn’t cause too much of a problem for an experienced fish keeper.
