what fish can i put with a calm female betta in a 70 liter tank?
i know i can put at least 2 more female betta with her and some goppies and fish of this sort, but she’s really calm, can i put her with any calm small fish?
there are some cool looking fish at the pet store that i want to buy but i dont want her to get hurt or hurt anyone else.
so, what do you say?
DON’TS: Chiclids, Puffers, and IF Tiger Barbs have a large school so they ignore others fish cause they are to busy picking on themselves, and feed them good. See I have a Female Live fine with BARBS FOR 2 YEARS. But people on her will go by there Personla expirance too. So its a Chance you can take if your not a fish extremest. Danios can too nip fins but a school of 8 is perfect to avoid this if your not one of those fish EXtremist.
One Male betta cause they can live with females and look for a calmer one who doesn’t flare up as much also who will have better luck if you put him when all other fish are in so he doesn’t think of the tank as his territory but the others and will Adapt better.
Tetras are great too, Neon’s or other smaller tetras. rasboras but they are more sensitive to water levels.
Dwarf frogs.
A Bamboo shrimp, or just a bunch of cherry shrimp.
I would go with the neon’s.
Oh ya never mix Gouromies and Bettas they are the same species and think even a female gourmie and female betta can be risky. Like 50/50 chance and you can always buy a new fish no big deal. Dont pay attention to the people on her that get angy, if there angry they arnt giving advice thats good they are just spiting out opinions.
Anyways You could do Kuhli Loches which come in Black or Yellow with Black Stripe. They must be in schools, 3 is ok but six is better and they are thin so they don’t produce much waste yet are4inch long.
Corry’s of corse but don’t mix corrys with the kuhli loches since they eat quicker and the kuli loaches will eventually starve because they are slower as well as nocturnal. But mine do come out in the day time a lot so that depends.
Maybe some otto cat fish. The are a sucker fish that to me look like little sharks. They stay really small and prefer schools. 3 is fine.
Another could be a Siamese algae eater who look like the Chinese algae eaters but stay smaller and are peaceful. They too are a sucker fish so its as good as having a Pleco with out having to worry about up grading.
