Betta Fish Water Temps

can all these tropical fish live together?

3 tetras and 3 zebra danios 3 colorful guppies one male betta fish and a sucker fish i heard the zebras will attack the betta fish and that they will all kill each other. and the betta fish will eat the tetras Are all their water temps ok with each others? and can i feed them the same food? what size tank will they need . What community fish wont kill each other?
ps i can’t have one too big!

Well, a male Betta may attack fancy guppies because their tails are very colorful and bright and the male may mistake the guppy as a male Betta. The zebra danios are darty and fast moving fish that may stress the Betta. The male Betta will be fine with the tetras and algae eaters. Since you can’t have a large tank I suggest you either look for an otocinclus catfish or drop the algae eater all together because most algae eaters are too big for a small tank. So, right now if you want a male Betta you can’t have zebra danios and fancy guppies. Looking at what you got you can either drop the Betta so you can have the tetras, danios, guppies, and algae eater-otocinclus all together or if you really want to keep the Betta then you can get a school of 6 tetras, with some otocinclus catfish, and your male Betta. For either suggestion you are looking for at least a 10 gallon tank with a heater. If 10 gallons is too big then you can get a small group of tetras and a male Betta and put them in a 5 gallon. You will need a heater because the fish are tropical and all the fish can tolerate the same temps and all the fish can be feed the same thing a standard tropical fish food.
