Will my betta fish die if I don’t feed it for a week?
I’m going on vacation to Disney World tomorrow and there won’t be anyone to feed me fish 
will he die?
If your betta is healthy it can survive for at least 2 weeks without food.
Dont use feeding blocks, too much chance of teh tank getting polluted by uneaten food, an you come home do a dead fish.
A battery powered automatic feeder is an option, but not needed.
Only get friends or family to feed your fish is they KNOW what they are doing. Too easy for well meaning people to dump in too much food.
Dont feed extra before you leave, more waste in the water is bad. Noemal feeding, do a water change and general clean before you go, and you will come home to a healthy fish, hungry of course, but healthy.
