Betta Fish Tank Temperature
Betta fish tank question?

Can I keep a male Betta fish in a 10 Gallon tank with a lamp that can heat the fish tank, and a thermometer to measure the temperature, and the betta fish will be fed 2-3 pellets a day or sometimes just 1-2 blood worms a day… and the water I would use is tap water with a dechlorinator/conditioner….

Also I was wondering if I can just use DRINKING WATER for my betta…

You will need a 50 watt heater, because you can’t cut off the Betta’s heat source. Temperature fluctuations can kill any fish, nor can you leave a light on all the time.

He will need a temp of 78F – 80F
