betta splendens and SBD…HELP!!!?
i want to get a new fighter fish (my 7th) and i want to know how to prevent it from getting swim bladder disorder??

Every week, feed your betta a deshelled, cooked pea, followed by no feeding the nest day. This will prevent bloat and SBD. Also, if your feeding your bettas freeze dried foods or pellets, you should soak them in water for a few minutes before feeding. This way the food won’t expand in your fish’s stomach.
