Does bottled water (spring water) hurt fish?
Well, I ran out of water conditioner and i can’t go to the pet store for more until the week end (The pet store is very far from my house and i cant drive and my parents come home at 10pm from work and at 8am they go back to work and the pet store isn’t open those times. My parents dont have work on the week end so i cant go until the week end!!) and fish tank cleaning is TODAY. Can i use spring water? Or must I wait for the week end? because my fish tank is a small vase for my betta because my betta is recovering from swim bladder disease. I will put him back in his 2 gallon when he recovers fully. I heard that germs build up quick in small tanks so i need to hurry up!!
As long as it is not distilled water you should be fine. Most “spring water” is about the same as tap water but usually doesn’t have the chlorine in it. Be sure it is the same temp though.
