Betta Fish Sickness Signs
Betta Fish Sickness Signs
My male Betta????

My betta fish is acting as if its not alive, but yes it is, there are no signs of sickness, he has been eating, but then just sitting there, The water is normal temperature (had just gotten it tested)Can anyone that actually KNOWS about fish help me!!!!

THANKSS!!
It always used to be swimming ALL over the place, so I gave it a 100% water change, since the water has been getting dirty so fast lately, and he usually makes a bubble nest, this time he didnt..

I’m guessing you have him in a bowl? Just on that idea, if this is the case, get him a filtered heated tank please. He is a tropical fish and should be treated as such. Temp alone wont tell you anything. If you haven’t dechlorinated the water, or changed it out enough for him, then there could be a problem in water chemistry. If there are no physical signs of injury or illness just lack of activity, and there are no nitrites present in your water, (shouldn’t be if it’s just a bowl) then don’t stress it.

If you need further help you can email me and go to fishless cycling.com or just use the link on my profile.
