What do for betta fish fin rot?
My sister teal male betta randomly lost hafe his nice long tail so i look it up and he has fin rot what typ of med’s should i get to help my sister fish? also why did this happin? i wanna make sure it dosent happin to her fish again or mine.
Oh both are fish have fake plants we are geting real one’s soon. we just cleaned are tanks today its been 5days so today was clean tank day. No there r no other fish in the tank are betta’s have there Own tanks & there aLone. so i’ll remove the fake plants. I have to ask one more thing how can i test the water temp so make sure its warm for him 70/80 F i dont have any heaters or temp taker at this time…
try adding aquarium salt (1 tablespoon per 5 gallons) to prevent any infection and strengthen the immune system. a 25% water change and temperature of 80 degrees will also help.
