Betta Fish Red Spots
Betta Fish Red Spots
My betta fish is sick. He is laying on his side, and wont move. what should i do?

I got this fish probably around november last year, i know betta fish live not very long, all i want to know is why is he laying on his side (and sometimes his face :( ), and if there is anything that might help him. He also has a red spot on his tail that is not normally there. Please help!!!!! Best and nicest answer gets 10 pts!! Plz and thank u!!

sonce bettas can live 3-7 years, he should live longer.
how is it being housed? in a cold tank with no heater, it could be that its body is giving up. the red spot could be a sign of ammonia problems or an infection. Are you doing partial water changes? This might help. also get a heater if your home for it is at least 2 gallons. they make them for tanks that small..just make sure.
here is a link to a site that will help you keep bettas.
