Betta Fish Popeye

I think my betta has popeye what should i do?

I don’t know how he got this…he isn’t exposed to any other fish or live plants….sometimes one eye looks bigger and then it looks normal….i am giving him some medicine i bought…how often should i change his water now? any tips thanks!

simple advice — its a build up of chemicals or bacteria in the water causing irritation to his eye. change the water a little more often than you are now.
