Betta Fish Nets
My Betta fish is scared of the fish net, but i need to get him out to clean the tank, what should I do?

I bought a Betta fish yesterday and it’s been acting a little strange. The water in the tank is a little dirty and i want to clean it but when I went to get the fish out to do so it started spazzing out. The fish is scared of the net and anything else that i put in the tank, so how do I get it out?

Assuming it is in a humane setup (5+ gallon heated and filtered aquarium) You should only need to do a 25% water change with a gravel siphon every week. Leaving the fish in the tank.

Shouldn’t you have researched this sort of stuff before buying a fish.
