Betta Fish Nest
My male betta fish made a bubble nest underneath the cave hide?

In my tank I have this plastic toy cave where the betta can hide under. I discovered that the male betta is making a bubble nest underneath it where there is a small pouch of air underwater! Is this still ok for when the fry start inhabiting the nest? I’m worried that the air pouch might close while the fry are there. What do you think? should i leave it or remove it and make him start over somewhere else? Thanks in advance!

If this is your breeding tank, you don’t really want to have a cave in there at all, just live or silk plants for the female to hide in. Most breeders use a styrofoam cup cut in half lengthways and floating to provide support for the bubblenest.
Remember that breeding is a huge commitment, both in time and money. Good luck!
