Betta Fish Losing Colors
My female Betta Fish is losing her color. Why?
I have female betta that was gray with red tipped fins, she’s in 10 gallon tank and her only mates are 2 female red wag platy. I’ve noticed that over the last few weeks her color is fading rapidly. Other than her color there are no other issues, she’s still eating and playful and attententive when you walk past the tank but she’s losing color. Help me please!! Is it the food, do I need to heat the tank or something? Just anyone please give me some solid adivce. The pet store had me change her food but still no change.
it could be she is getting near maturity,water quality is bad, shes lonesome, or the water is a good temp. good luck
