Can you move a betta to a new tank without upsetting them?
Can you move a betta to a new tank that previously had a different gender of betta in it? Can the betta tell another fish has been there?

I’ve never had a problem with it with my bettas. As long as the water condition is about the same as what the betta is in now, it should be fine. If the previous betta died suddenly or from a known disease, I’d recommend cleaning out the tank, though (depending on the size of the tank) and changing the filter.
