Will non betta food hurt my fish? and what is a good companion for my Betta fish?
I have a Betta fish and i want to get him a friend. So i am asking two questions. If i had, say a danios Fish, and i put Danios food into the tank and Pogo ate it, would it hurt him? or if the other fish ate Pogogs food would it hurt the other fish… i just dont want to go and buy and fish and find out that its gonna die. AND… What would be a good companion FISH for Pogo, my Betta fish?
I would advise not adding any tank mates, in a male’s tank. They might be ok with it for a while, but like any aggressive animal. That can change quick, it’s not worth the life of another fish, that has to suffer because people don’t understand how male betta’s are. These fish are not the best to have if your looking to keep more then one in a tank. If you want something close the Betta, try fancy tail guppies.
