How can you tell the age of your betta / fighting fish?
Ive had my betta for abit over a month and the store where I brought him wasnt sure of his age and I was just wondering if there is a way of telling how old they are.
You judge by the length of its pectoral fins. The longer they are, the older the Betta is. Then again, Bettas who suffer from fin rot will usually have smaller pectoral fins, so it can be misleading at times. Bettas you buy from shops are usually between the 6 month – 1 year age range.
