Betta Fish Feeding Habits

How often do I feed my mystery snail?

I’ve got a blue mystery snail and am not sure how often or how much to feed it. I know the wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and etc. that it can eat, I just don’t know how much to put in the tank. Do I need to give it a constant supply of food, making sure there is something in the tank every day? Or should I only give it some vegetables or fish food every other day? I have it in with a betta and don’t want my snail to be harmed by my betta’s eating habits (and vice versa.) Please tell me as much as you can!

i keep mystery snails, and personally, i want to keep HEALTHY THRIVING snails, not half starved, barely surviving snails.

so for me, this means that i do in-fact feel my snails, they eat calcium rich veggies that i sink to the bottom of the tank, algae wafers, even homemade “snail biscuts”. i feed them maybe twice a week, sometimes 3 times.

snails also need liquid calcium drops in the tank(to maintain shell health), some do every day, i do every other day. I use KENTS liquid calcium, its technically for marine animals, but it is absolutely safe to use in your freshwater tank, as long as you are dosing correctly, which will be 1-2 drops per 10 gallons, every day, or every other day.
