Betta Fish Eating Tail
Betta Fish Eating Tail
help! my betta is eating my angel fishys tail!?

K my angel and betta are never ever fighting or anything (only sometimes my betta chases my angel fish) and 2day i come home and my angel fishs tail is been ripped off! Is it my betta fault and wat do i do??!!
No but my betta never even flared when i put a miror in front of him! He isnt aggressive at all! and i have never really see them fighting and iv hade them in the same tank for wat 2 months! this is the first thing 2 happen!

Male Bettas are best not kept in tanks with other fish. They are just too aggressive and nippy. Some females can be kept with other fish but it’s best to put them in at a very young age. I’ve seen Bettas kill for no reason, just because they could. I suggest setting the Betta up in its own tank and in the future reading about fish compatibility before putting 2 fish together.
