Why is my female betta fish bloated?
I have a female betta fish and she is really bloated. She is swimming around and eating normally and her scales aren’t sticking out so its not dropsy. She is the only fish in her tank and i have had her for about 5 months. Am i feeding her too much? She only gets three pellets a day. What could be wrong her?

You still can’t quite rule out dropsy. It can be gradual.. bloated at first, and then so huge that her scales poke out. Hopefully, though, it’s eggs!
It could also be constipation. Try not feeding for a day or two, or at least feed her much less. After that give her some green peas. I hear that can help bettas with constipation.
