fish stocking question #2?
I forgot to mention this in my last question. Anyway, I plan on stocking my 60 gallon tank with some
17 neon tetras
10 tiger barbs
3 small bala sharks
2 small plecos
1 bamboo shrimp
1-2 apple snails
Would this be okay? Also, if there’s any room left, would it be okay to add either 2 african dwarf frogs, 10 glowlight tetras, Ghost knife fish, 6 ghost catfish, or possibly a white betta fish? compatibility?
I understand Tiger barbs get fin nippy and aggressive, but since it’s in a group of 10, wouldn’t the aggression decline, preventing the fin nipping of other fish?
Your tank is very overstocked. Please do your research. Bala sharks can easily reach 1 foot and prefer larger schools. Some small types of plecos could fit but not common plecos as they reach 18 inches. You may be able to get 1 but not 2. Tiger barbs may still be aggressive towards neon tetras and large schools is no guarantee.
