Betta Fish Breeding : Female has horizontal stripes after being released into the breeding tank?
The female had vertical stripes when she was in her holding tank before I released her but now she’s swimming around with horizontal stripes. Should I remove her and try again later?
NO, you should add a few drops of your urine into the tank. I know this sounds ridiculous but it helps them metabolize oxygen more thoroughly. I guess it has to do something with the urea in the urine. I heard it from a sales associate at pet-smart. Hope this helps.
