Betta’s cannot be confined to a bowl. Keeping any sort of animal in a bowl, in my opinion, is animal cruelty, and bowls should be made illegal.
Betta’s need heated water (the average tropical temperature is 78F), at the least a 5 gallon tank (with a lid – they’re jumpers!), a weak filter, some caves to hide in, real or silk plants (plastics will tear his/her fins), and need tender loving care.
No, a bowl is no place for any living creature.
