Is this aquarium set up a good one (Betta fish + African Dwarf Frogs)?

Is this an okay setup + plan:

-1 male betta fish
-2 African Dwarf Frogs (heard they are compatable with a betta)

-5 Gallon aquarium with filter, thermometer, and heater to keep temperature at 72 degrees.
-Blue gravel for the bottom and possibly some fake plants (silk not plastic).
-Small planters pot for the frogs to dwell in (heard it’s a good hiding spot for them)

-Food for the betta would be small betta pellets and frozen bloodworms
-Food for the AFD’s would be frozen bloodworms (hand hed if they get used to it, otherwise
a small plate near the planters pot so it’s always placed in the same spot).

-2-5% of the water would be replaced every two weeks
-Carbon filters would be replaced once a month

Is this setup and plan a good one? I heard a male betta will do good around an AFD but Im not sure about 2. If they aren’t compatable Im torn between just the 1 betta, or 2+ AFD’s.

Thanks guys =]
^^That should be 25% not 2-5%

Sounds perfect to me. I suggest that you not change the water every 2 weeks. Actually it is less necessary than most people think. See if you can get away with doing it every 3 weeks. And definately do a 15% change. Believe me, beginners are in either 2 categories. Either they neglect the tank or they over clean the tank. Over cleaning can be just as bad to your fish. You can do away with helpful bacteria, cause ammonia streaks, and worst of all force the tank to cycle constantly. Remember cycling a fish tank is the most important think any fish owner needs to know.

And there are filters that last 2 months. It is less work for you and the less you mess around with the tank the less stressed the fish are.

Good luck with you new little friends!
