Can I put two female betta fish in the same tank?
(with no divider) will they fight? Or will they get along and not try to kill each other. I have a 4 gallon tank and it looks so empty when there is only one betta. My fish recently passed so I was thinking about getting two female bettas. Will that be okay for the fish because I don’t want then to get hurt.

I have 2 females who are doing fine together. But then Betta’s will be the first to point out we can’t categorize them with an exact science (the only in odd #s position, which I’m sure is usually true)
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t even try it in a 4 gal. or expect them to get along. Just too cramped. Also, it being a 4 gal. nothing else can fit in there so the 2 of them would have nothing to distract them from each other. My 2 are in a 10 gal. with lots of other critters.
