Betta Fish Water Heaters
Betta Fish Water Heaters

I know betta fish don’t need heaters, but the water in my little tanks and bowls gets really cold.?
Should I do something to make the water warmer?
Actually, Betta most certainly do need heaters. Being tropical fish from the sun heated rice paddies of Thailand, it’s necessary to use a heater to maintain a constant temperature in a betta tank. The temperature for a betta tank should be 75 – 80 degrees. Many wrongly advise that “room” temp is fine for a betta. The betta will “survive” this temp, but it most certainly won’t thrive. The difference between room temp air and tank water in unheated bowls can be as much as 10 degrees.
Purchase a heater for your betta tank.
