Discus Fish Temperature Questions on the discus fish: What is the best temperature for the tank. Mine is in class C 30 = 86 degrees F?
As with most other aspects of the tank depends on whether the fish are tank raised or wild caught. Since you mentioned that has a red Discus (Previous question) I guess they are all tank raised (not wild strains Marlboro). All 78 * (* 25) or more should be fine but certainly not a problem with the 86 * (30). If you see them act a little stressed, down to about 82 * (28 *).
