Discus Fish Quality Discus

Discus Fish Quality Discus
Discus Fish Quality Discus
Is this a good stocking idea for a 60 gallon aquarium?

This is what I want and I am wondering if this would work:
4 Angel Fish
8 Rummy Nose Tetras
8 Silver Tip Tetras
6 Blue Platys
1 Rubber Pleco
1-2 Discus (What do You Think About Angels and Discus Living together?)
Would These Fish Work? I am not a beginner and am not getting the tank for a while and until then I will be researching even more about the fish I want.
Also I am looking at a large canister filter for it and I do weekly water changes on my other tank and I will be with this one also, so if it is a little over stocked water quality shouldn’t be a problem. With the discus should I get 1 male 1 female? And can you tell them apart when they are young? Any Tips About discus or any of the other fish I want would be great! Thanks
1 more thing- Are discus common fish to find at a pet store or are they really hard to find?
What do you mea by saying I would seperate the tank?

nice, though idk about the angelfish and the tetras together( though some people do it and they’re fine)

and i’ve seen videos of discus and angels( they’re both pretty peaceful)
together.
and a male and a female discus doesn’t matter unless you’re breeding…( i would say seperate tank)- a seperate tank for breeding
