Betta Fish Guidelines

Basics Betta fish?

I thought to get a betta. But I'm not sure how to take care of them. Iv herd needs of different things entirely to them that you need for goldfish. Goldfish I own (well all do), but it is difficult for me to enter pet store or fish if I need guidance or some help. What size tank do I need? What to look for when buying ect … Thank you advance xx Need special meal? I come in small cabinets and colorful fish as food is to do or goldfish food sutibal? What temperature a heater for what they need? What is the best to get a heater?

If you can keep gold, you can keep a betta, there no real difference. Betta can live in a smaller tank – lots of space for a 5gal betta. Betta is a tropical fish, they need water hot, around 25 ° C is ideal. Get a small aquarium heater to a pet store. Betta do not like strong currents. Buy a small filter air filter even the sponge is well fed. The strength of a hurricane does not need filtering, because they are relatively low damage fish. Betta have a diet different for goldfish, less vegetation and more Protien question. You can buy food specially designed betta, but any good scales tropical fish should be good too. Read more here. Betta Fish Bubbles
Betta Fish Bubbles
My betta fish is a bubble around the edge of the cup. What does this mean?

I have my little male Betta Jonah PetSmart Thursday. It was blowing bubbles on the edges of the cup. What does this mean?

It makes a nest of bubbles. There is nothing to worry about and could mean two things (or both): it is simply too happy or "who is ready to mate. You do not have to worry about nothing. Even if she is ready to mate you do not have to take a partner (I would not recommend it unless you know how to mate successfully and how to care for babies). He eventually stop doing this and can start doing it randomly. It is quite normal behavior.

Now I'm upgrading to one gallon tank 55. The set-up I found was in a cellar for two years. The deposit is not so bad, but the filters and pipes Alge were what appeared to be their age. I was told that everything has been said when it was taken down. The filters are a filter for the network low voice that has two blocks and a Fluval 303. How can I clean them safely? I also put in place as soon as possible. Thank you pour votre aide.

The simplest chaepest and one of the best ways is that the salt, water and elbow grease. Use salt as well as the suppression of dust in the sink the kitchen, as an abrasive. You can be creative with brushes and others to be in the tubes, but can be done. The hot water will Lossen Agle old. This method is very safe for the fish in the future without having to worry about super rinse as you would with care many products. I will not give up until I saw his team did not. Do not try to clean the pads and filter media, developments and that you should be okay.
