Do you think this is old for a Betta?
Well, he’s a Crowntail Betta (I know he’s a male for a fact), and he’s almost seven years old. He’s been kept with my Comet goldfish for a while now and just hangs out inside this ornamental stump-thing. Then, when feeding time rolls around he shimmies on out and eats. It’s pretty crazy, how two fish such different sizes get along. Anyway, do you think that’s pretty old? I have a Black Moore that’s older than my dog (nine years).
That is pretty old!

Is a Siamese fighting fish (Betta) living outdoors in a small pond?
I built a small pond with a Home Depot and metalwork that disquised with large rocks – some of them in the pond. There is a pump to prevent water moving on a waterfall, I have built. "I can not put a siamese fighting fish in the pond?
No, unless you live in a place where it is cold – NEVER tropical. If you do not want to risk loss of birds or cats or what you have to put on a buffer – but why make a creature so beautiful, why not take him inside where it will be more comfortable and appreciated and put goldfish in the pond where they belong?
